SanDisk Cruzer Micro USB 2.0 Flash Drive

Here you have your thumb drive.

Use your thumb to extend the USB connector.

Find the USB port on your PC or Notebook.

Insert the drive,

The light will come on.

The U3 icon will show in your tray and the cruzer logo will pop up on your desktop.

The cruzer logo is annoying and redundant so click on it and select "Permamently Disable Cruzer Icon".

Click on the U3 icon, go to Settings.

Select U3 Launchpad Settings.

Type in a distinctive name so you'll recognize it regardless of assigned drive letters and then close the menu.

Click Start, My Computer

Now you see your drive.

When you're thru using your thumb drive right-click on the U3 icon and select Safely eject U3 smart drive

Wait for the Safe To Remove U3 smart drive notice and then the U3 icon will disappear.

The light will go out on your thumb drive and it's safe to remove it, retract the connector and put your drive away.
